Falco's my favourite character from Starfox and one of my mains in Super Smash Bros. Brawl. (Along with Lucas)I like him mainly... cause he's a bird.
I do like his personality too, he's cool and mean on the outside, but actually good and caring on the inside.
I wanted to draw a portrait so that I can focus on details and textures. I thought Falco was a good subject since he's well, feathered. Also it's been like years since I've drawn Falco.

I like the coloring style. It's not flat looking, it's lively and gives it an authentic feel. It has a slight hint of realism if you may.
Great in impact. The detail in shading, though very subtle and a little simplified, is excellent.
My personal opinion, though it wouldn't make the picture look a lot better, it would still be an improvement in my eyes, is that you should have made something more with the background. It would have made the picture look even more genuine.
With that being said, it looks very nice. Keep up the good work.

Yeah I wasn't very sure what to do with the background. I didn't want to keep it a flat colour, so I added some shades of blue and yellow.

Like I said, it's already a good drawing but something like a cockpit would be appropriate since you drew him from the side and also, well, it's Star Fox.

Falco's my fave Starfox character in smash and the Starfox series overall. I main him in Melee (although in recent playing I tend to get a lot of self-destructs guess I just need to brush up on him again) I don't really like him as much in Brawl, I main Lucas and Ness in Brawl.
