I genuinely did not see this coming. I've plotted my fair share of twists from the days of the Secret Wars up until now, but... This was brilliantly executed and makes absolute sense in hindsight. Especially given that it's a flashback, so you're sort of expecting a foregone conclusion... But you still managed to shock! Haven't lost your touch at all, Kost!

Hee hee! I thought that would catch a few people out - glad this was still a surprise. I kind of assumed people would think that we were setting up a 'Good Vigil vs Bad Vigil' finale - but BC and I both wanted something that gave the finish of the story to the people who's characters had done all the fighting - not just hand it over to Vigil to magically make everything better again. Thanks! This surprised a few people I think - because they expected 'Good Vigil' to help take down 'Evil Vigil' - but that would have been a bit too convenient, and a bit of a short-change to all the other people who had drawn scenes for the fight - their characters really 'earned' the final battle!

Seriously, your entry has been truly amazing, and I'm honoured that you included Chill in this. I'm thankful now that I added him back into the DU when I did.
Sorry for not commenting on all the pages, because all of the pages in your entry over this crossover have been awesome (it's just saying "This is Awesome" on every page quickly becomes redundant)

Thanks for the kind words - much appreciated! Chill's backstory and character fitted perfectly with what I wanted to do here - it's the real joy of the DU that we get to play with each other's characters like this and if I've helped you decide what to do next with him I'm really happy! I hope it's clear in this page that the good Doctor is down but not out - he just needs a new pair of glasses and a lot of painkillers! Looking forward to seeing what happens to him next (other than a big apology from Centauri!)

Well, now here's a fine mess. It would appear as if Centauri vanishing was not all that unexpected by the villains. It seems Vigil's evil counterpart is renting space in her head.

They didn't expect Centauri to vanish specifically, but they did know that the Otherworld heroes were using a teleporter and they had worked out who, or what it was. So I guess Deathwatch had her people monitoring for Vigil's energy signature, and saving Centauri let them track the signal back to Dr Hill. Once they knew where to look, Deathwatch just took over Centauri's brain for a laugh, really. Being... you know... evil and all! Thanks for the

This is all that's happened to her this year - everything else was a flashback to her departure from the DU years back - but I take your point! Things are not going particularly well. All those hardships make for great storytelling. As a writer, you are doing it right if, were Vigil to discover that YOU were responsible for everything that happened to her, she would be very cross with you
