Technically this is a really old character design - but one that has never really found a home yet. Designed way back in the dim and distant past, he always used toΒ shoot energy blades out of his wrist gauntlet things - everyone has to have a mysterious character with blades - I blame Wolverine! Similar colour scheme isn't it! He would work as a new type of Technomonger armour, but I'm not planning on bringing him into the DU though.

Love the design of this guy! He could have easily made an Atlas in the Sovereign War with a cool look like this, he'd make a good giant robot

Partly just drawing for the sake of drawing at the moment - now I've started drawing new characters it's become kind of addictive! If it evolves into anything you'll be the first to know!

That's right! You have a long memory! Actually this character goes back even further than that. He was a design I came up with for a project before Next X that that never made it to the internet, and then Next X shut down before he could really be developed properly. Until then, he's waited around in comic limbo! He also cropped up in the Century story over on Rocketbot last year (but he's really, really small!)

Really great armor design here. It flows really well. This is going to sound stupid, but I like the feet design too. It's different and lends an almost alien design to the armor.

I have a story to go with this guy (rather than just a look!) but I'll save that for a later note rather than share it here - since if he makes the cut I'll want a 'shock reveal!' moment in the comic! Colours are open to change here though... not sure about the gold! He could get a respray in team colours maybe!

One day I'll learn to make my armour that cool looking as opposed to cluttered, messy and blocky stuff I usually create.

Very kind - thanks! Technical stuff is a real pain to draw multiple times I find - if I can draw machinery that only appears in one panel I'm OK - It's if I have to think about it and show it from multiple angles I struggle!

Could be an alien, judging by the odd numbered fingers and toes. Old-school and simple armor.
