TRDL 2013 Series, No. 16 - Beetle [TRDL Redesign]

This one was done for the R3 Art Challenge, the subject being the Marvel character, The Beetle. This was one of my favorite Marvel characters in my youth, in large part because I used him against player characters in the Marvel RPG like EVERY time. Sort of an early campaign rite of passage. I really love the classic John Byrne version of the guy, versus later years' redesigns. In my design, I went with what I suspect is pretty recognizable TRDL powered armor design language, stretching him out, making him lanky and wound up and more exotic.
