yeah true I was already thinking of hanging the instrument around my neck by two small wires. But at the convention it wouldn't really be allowed to take such a big prop with you XD I might still make it one day though

Tell me about it, the convention where I live had to turn back a Nasus because his prop is obviously huge!

There was a pretty solid Taric there too, again, prop problems. Sigh convention owners don't understand our troubles!

But yeah the idea of the wires sounds like it would work! Then you can distance it slightly and get that hovering illusion.

The cosplay is very impressive even without it though!

haha, that sucks indeed! I still get why the rules are there though, I just wish they weren't I'd make my instrument out of cardboard, insulation foam and paper mache, that wouldn't be really heavy or harmfull, the size is the problem
But I'm glad you like my cosplay ^^

I'm working on a Talon myself, it's been proving more of a challenge than I thought, the individual components are okay but. . . sticking it all together XD

Ooo, light and easy to carry, but yeah it would look painful still :'D

And iknow, it would be awesome if she could sing! But on the other hand, a lot of people at the convention thought I was Miku -_- If Sona could sing, it would resemble Miku too much ;D
