This is destroying my head canon!! why? well I kinda found it weird how she can't feel anything but she can feel pity. I mean, she felt bad for her father, but how was she supposed to know how her father must have felt if she herself can't feel anything?
I honestly like to think that her mother was forcing the whole "Yandere"Β thing to her daughter, it's been something many generations before ayano became. And I like to think that somehow Ayano was able to find a little bit more of "Humanity" little by little, the more she holds back, I mean, she felt pity for her father, can she with other students?

I really like this, Ayano is very much a pitiable character in the right light, a mentally ill young woman who's been told from her earliest memory something in her needs to be fixed and that the only way to be so is this 'someone special' and when she finally meets what she believes is her saviour, she's being presented with the idea that he'll be taken from her before she can even have him, that her only hope to be normal is out of her reach, she's desperate to be normal, she's desperate to fixed, that's what should be highlighted in her; that desperation, the willingness for cruelty and violence need not be implied anymore then that.

"Ayano is a monster. "
That is if you let her be.

It's so stupid to complain about her character now. Dev, on the contrary, made her more human! Earlier, Ayano, according to the plot, didn't feel anything. But now she just doesn't feel happiness.
How can people be called fans if they follow the development so badly that they don't even suspect what kind of character the protagonist has? Seriously, guys?

Tbh, YandereDev seems to be forcing the whole "evil" aspect of Ayano. When in reality it doesn't seem to be there. I found myself more eager to play the game when he mentioned features to give gifts to senpi and match up/ befriend rivals.

I agree completely! I never was as interested in the "evil" side of Ayano compared to the hope for a redeemed Ayano-Chan. ^^

I also wish more thought had been put into Ayano as a person.... I'm sure it wouldn't have been a hindrance if there was any kind of sympathy in her. Koumi-senpai, you truly know what's up. I don't think any of us would disagree? Your points are incredibly valid, imo.

This sums up what I sometimes see Ayano as in the game......a robot being manipulated by the player's actions......
