character used is my oc yuki
to everyone wondering: I'm quite aware that the hair in this looks a bit on the purple side rather than black - if you don't want this when you're coloring it's quite easy to change by starting with a darker/greyer base color. I usually try not to let any of the shading colors go as dark as black because it clashes with the lineart, but some people pull that off really nicely so you do you!

okay so i can understand that using a really dark color or a solid black isn't good but that's not black hair

my coloring style tends to make dull, dark things more colorful ^^ i hope that people following the tutorial will do things more in their own way regardless of whether they think mine has mistakes
