it really depends. Digimon actually was made before pokemon, but pokemon's show came out before. So it depends. Some people will always have that opinion regardless, so I try to ignore them.

yeah and the story line is totally different. they don't strive for the same goals either. (gyms vs. saving the world XD)pokemon can't revert evolutions either. pokemon just took off faster than digimon ever did.

I like pokemon and digimon for different reasons :3
I much prefer pokemon's games to digimon's games, while I much prefer digimon's anime to pokemon's anime :3 but I do like them all ^^

i just think in general the pokemon games are a lot better than the digimon ones lol. but the digimon anime is always so much more interesting and attached than pokemon's. I like all though! Some people will sadly always have their own opinions that won't be touched.
