do you use stencils to make these pieces? I'm fascinated by your process, it's so lovely and unique. the blues and purples are beautiful.

No~ I just sort of paint around it, and layer the colours. After many layers, some spots on the page tend to stand out more.

XD It's a cheap pencil from the dollar store so it is waxy and don't go on the paper very well. (Which is a plus in this situation I guess.) :'D

I love the way you do these. Do you use a lot of frisket stuff to do the main forms? I can't seem to get as controlled as you are.

And no actually, I just leave those white parts and paint around it. Frisket takes too long to dry and I like speed painting.
