This is obviously after the trouble at Atlas(what with them attacking innocent people; my guess is that it's because there's a White Fang spy in their midst) has been resolved, allowing them to work on a prosthetic arm for Yang.

Yeah it was.... I mean we all knew that RWBY was going to get dark, but Monty knew what he was doing. (May he rest in peace)
But what RT did was took the series, promised to keep it Monty's vision, and instead they crashed everything into the wall going head first.

They did keep his vision. He planned pretty much the ENTIRE series ahead of time. Don't go jumping to conclusions. But, if you are unhappy now and no longer like the series, be everyone's guest to stop watching. No one is stopping you. Just don't ruin it for others who still enjoy it

I don't see how they kept his vision. RT even said they changed things because Monty's version wouldn't make sense, and that is just wrong. I won't be watching their version nor acknowledge it. And I would appreciate it if the so called "Fans" don't ruin my idea of RWBY that I really enjoy.

True we may never know what was changed, but my opinion still stands that it was wrong and done terribly. And I am trying my best to not throw out insults back and forth. I am tired of all these people just getting on to me on how I see things and I just want to be left alone with my own works. They make me happy and is the only thing in RWBY I can do.

Yeah, I'm done with the show. Sure, I wanted progression of the story, but what they did wasn't development, it was senseless angst for a cheap attempt to provoke fan reaction. I know this, because I endured the same bullshit in Game of Thrones Season 5. It's just shock factor.
Now I'm not above bad things happening to characters. Hell, it's actually good to see them pick themselves up. But in Yang's case, it was all forced. Once she got her arm cut off I was shocked, but that shock was replaced with frustration because they just left her like that! WTF, Ironwood is more machine than man and you can't spare any time to give Yang a prosthetic? Then it hit me. RT just want to use Yang as a punching bag for angst sake so they can be "Dark" without putting in any real work. Everything they did to her was just purely coordinated to provoke a reaction and did nothing to develop her as a character.
What is this supposed to be a way to make her more "mature"? Hate to be the party pooper, but Yang was always one of the more mature team members. She's been like the mother figure. She's already a character who takes things seriously. If we need to make anyone seriously, how about Ozpin? He's the most apathetic human being in history. Yang was fine the way she was.
Another thing is, Yang's torment made me hate two characters I actually wanted to like (Blake and Qrow). So, yeah that happened.
And to top it off, who does it? King Adam the Fucking Loser. You're seriously telling me Yang, one of the toughest characters in the show, can't even last a minute against a punk who's idea of a fight is unarmed civilians? FFS.
I can already tell what they're gonna do. They'll try to portray Raven as some wise sage (when she really is just a shitty mother for abandoning Yang) do some crappy forced drama about her recovering and give her a new arm and pretend they didn't fuck up as badly as they did. Now I don't know if exactly that will happen, but I don't care. After what happened to Yang and all the other BS in V3, I'm done.
Not that I will dictate what you should do, but I personally advise you don't watch V4. RT will not learn from their mistakes and they'll just keep producing inferior content because no one can criticise them without being called a hater. And I really did want this show to be good, but from the direction they are going in, it's just gonna be GoT all over again, and I'm just not doing that. If anyone enjoys V3 and beyond, fantastic, more power to them. But me? Volume 1 and 2 are all I count.
Anyway, I'm babbling. Just thought it was nice to see someone else had a distaste for V3 too.

I'm glad we see things the same way. I have no interest in RT's vol.4 or anything else try might try to do. Unfortunately the RWBY series died with Monty and there are a few people trying to keep it alive.
And if you are interested, I am working on a RWBY project of my own. It is my own take of how the series should have gone. I haven't gotten the first part out yet, but I am working hard to get it out.

I'll be honest, I absolutely HATED it when Yang lost her arm. I couldn't take it at first. But the thing is, we can't just stay in denial forever. She's lost her arm, and we all know that. I'm devastated that she lost her arm. Yang was my favorite character too.
