Description
The second of the three drawings I did for my english project. Edward Elric from Full Metal Alchemist, of course. I've always been a fan of Hiromu Arakawa's drawing style. It seems so simple at first but I learned a lot from reading her work.

We had to talk about a culture we belonged to. My teacher said I could do anime cosplaying and so I drew the three characters I wanted to cosplay as the most.

We don't get to talk about anime or manga, ecause the school wants us to read "more appropriate novels".
I say I want to read FMA.

My teachers have stopped caring, partly because I always carry around what they call an 'appropriate novel.' It feels weird to me if I'm not carrying a book. But hey, I say if the manga has a better plot then the novels I've seen, then I'm gonna read it.

I usually carry around a novel as well, one day last year I remember carrying around Naruto, "Jaws" and Black Butler vol.1~

I usually carry around a whole bunch of unknown titles like Graceling, Empire of Ivory and Dragon Keeper, but occasionally I'll grab a popular one like The Hunger Games. In my mind, fantasy always wins. I reject reality and create my own.
