This picture is adorable. I GET FlutterMac, and why it's so popular, but I'm not really a FlutterMac shipper. I'm actually a TwiMac shipper. Still, FlutterMac has all the straight shipping art >_< I guess I just have trouble seeing Fluttershy with anypony since she's so timid, but they still have awesomely cute art that comes out...which causes me to fave this. ^_^;

Well, the way I see it, Twilight is the only one of the friends who's actually talked to Big Mac, which is a plus. She's an egghead from the big city while he's a farm boy, and they could have a slow attraction to each other that blossoms into love. They kinda compliment each other - while Twilight is socially awkward, Big Mac is quiet and let's his actions do the talking. Twilight might not get it at first that maybe Big Mac has a crush on her, but when she does, his calm demeanor would assuage her sometimes aggressive and crazy tendencies to take charge of things. Likewise, she might bring him out of his shell a little.
With FlutterMac, I see them becoming that couple that holes themselves up in their house, avoiding other ponies and just having each other for company...that ain't healthy, lol.

HOWEVER: Whilst you've proven Twilight would be best for Big Mac (And SmartyPants supports this for you too) I submit that Big Mac is not best for Twilight.
In lieu of her...Why not Cheerilee? I think those two would have more chemistry!

Well, being the main male character of the show, we can pair Big Mac with anyone and reason it away ^_^; I just prefer Twilight. With Cheerilee...hmm, I haven't thought about that. She's too cheery for my taste. Though I look forward to her upcoming episode - it should give her more depth.
