If only Win7 natively supported playing gifs as the desktop background, this, and others, would be sweet.

You could put together a crude version by requesting the frames he used to produce this, and then simply have the background switch each frame out every second or whatever (not sure if Win7 lets you switch desktop backgrounds in under a second).
