Why yes this is counting for human week, they are “human” after all

I actually caught up on all the Korra I’d missed and I felt like drawing the Betas in Benderstuck. I’d seen it a little bit floating around, but not being a huge Avatar person I didn’t really think much of it. But I like Korra, so I thought why not! Then I got the ask, and it was just so perfect ^^

So this group are the firebenders

Pannos Nitram
Story: he’s aspiring to join the ranks of the royal guard someday. He has a very deep seated desired to protect people, and a lust for adventure to see the world. As a firebender…well…his skills could use some improvement but as long as he’s having fun with it he’s more than willing to train his hardest
Reasoning: firebender was actually mine and PK’s first instinct but then I debated over air so he could fly but I went back to the fire. Plus, Pan is “Rufio” who is Dante Bossco, who was Zuko, who was fire…plus I think of Dante as Pan’s voice

Lana Meigdo
Story: she’s of fire nation nobility and often spends her time in the archives reading and learning. She’s known to have a fiery temper though…but it does take quite a bit to get her angry at least. But if you do, you better watch yourself.
Reasoning: I went with fire for her due to the time thing and fire being connected with the phoenix which is a cycle of rebirth and passage of time and stuff like that. Plus I get bonus points for zodiac XD;

Redd Pyrope
Story: she is a pure lightning bender; she thinks fires are so uncool and last season she also uses a lightning rob staff as a primary weapon aside from her bending. She can either channel the lightning through it in her hands, use it as a regular bow staff, or impale it into the round and channel lightning to it to shock a wider range of opponents.
Reasoning: this was seriously a no brainer for me. Lots of red, lightning is epic, and the lightning rob weapon was perfect. And she has goggle to protect her eyes from all the flashing heat she can create.

PK helped me brainstorm a bit cause I was stuck for some of them. I didn’t reference the “official” benderstuck when I was setting up their alignments, only when I was looking for clothing references. I’m sorry for all the inaccuracies; like I said, I’m not really an Avatar person. But this was fun, and I had fun drawing them. Will probably never draw them again, but hey still fun! XDDD
