By the way. You stated that Karin can increase his speed and strength with his semblance. You also said that Krain strains his nervous system and other areas of his body in doing so as well. During the scene that involves my character Soma encountering Krain for the first time, Soma and Karin fight each other. Through out the fight, Krain uses his aura to perform a series of high reaching jumps and acrobatic maneuvers while evading bullets and other projectiles. I figured that since other characters can pull off crazy doges and jumps with their semblance that Krain shouldn't be any different unless you say so. Additionally, I thought of concepts where Krain even surfs along power cables to traverse buildings and using his electric current to produce thrust under himself while jumping across broken bridges or cayons or doing a second jump while in mid air. I thought that Krains' boots may be lined with potent insulators to negate any damage that he would otherwise receive. Are any of these ideas acceptable to you? If not then please let me know.

Yes...YES! wow....you figured it out....well...except the power cables thing..I don't think It can support his weight. Though any metal surfaces work e.g. Train tracks and rails. Notice the soles of his boots are white? they were intended to be so because it's tampered aluminum lined with magnets, these magnets regulate the electrical current that he gives off that enables him to magnetically stick to a metal surface and do wall runs or jump higher by, as you said, produce a thrust. The gloves are the same, they are also his secret weapons, the visible metal part conducts electrical currents that enables him to shock, taze, and electrocute his opponent. I'm still thinking if he can use his electric current's to somehow pull himself magnetically on a metal surface....something like a tether of sorts.
The double jump...well I guess he can use the shock waves caused by releasing a focused burst of electrical current on his boots.

Well I can't believe I guessed some many things about your OC correctly in one go. I assume that I am on the right track with portraying Karin accurately. Knowing all of this, it seems that Krain is not only incredibly fast and strong but is capable of moving through buildings and terrain like nobody's business. Now that I have a grasp of how Karin moves around battle fields and how his fighting style works I just need one more detail about his aura reserves. Seeing how Karin can put him self in cardiac arrest from overusing his Semblance got the idea that he uses his aura more often in fights scenes than his semblance to avoid that issue. I thought that just aura alone would not present any potential side effects. If that is the case then exactly how big is Karins' aura reserves? Aura is depleted while fighting and taking hits in the RWBY universe. People like Ren and Weise appear to have relatively low amounts of aura seeing how they get tired more quickly and people like Yang and Jaune who get injured a lot and not tire out seem to have a lot. Knowing this how would you describe Karins aura?

The side effects of his semblance will only happen if he goes beyond his personal limitations. He has a lot of ways to conserve energy but also at some point absorb electrical energy. He doesn't use aura all the time and He maintains a low usage of it. The dangerous levels go beyond 50%. His aura reserves are fairly high and his aura shield durable, considering his history of training from his foster mother. He is taught not to use his semblance too much. His sword also stores excess energy and releases it accordingly to deal damage to certain types of enemy. He is at most of the time a planner and an assault fighter. He does get tired if his aura reserve becomes low.

His semblance is like an engine,he has fuel (energy) that can run at a moderate pace and maintain it that way but push too far and it breaks.
