You know, because the arbitrary celebrating of non-events is just the hallmark of going about in today's day and age, and there's no better way to do that than celebrating an unbirthday!
And also because Jane just wants an excuse to hug Selina in that fashion.
(And I totally missed the submission of this deviation by a day to cement the irony of it!)

I love this picture so much. The poses are great, especially that hug (I'm with Jane, I would want to do that to Selina too!), but their expressions are fantastic. You really bring these two to life. Great job with the lighting and set dressing too, and Selina's new shirt! Really top notch work all around.

Ah, thanks for pointing it out. I didn't realise the implications, although in hindsight that should have been considered given how these communities tend to intersect with one another. The usage here is far more innocent and child-like as it is with reference to the Unbirthday Song featured in the 1951 animated film Alice in Wonderland.
