Screw 2016 Loud House! It's full of slang, modern technology, lesbians, gay people, twerking, dabbing, and all that social media nonsense. Ever since I saw yours and Fresh Knight's fanart, I always imagined this show actually taking place in the 80s, a time when people actually had conversations with each other, New York still looked like New York, commercials were still entertaining, music had more meaning, etc. Even though this show may never actually take place in the 80s in real life, you are keeping my dream alive! Keep 'em comin!

I picked 1983 because I liked the look and music of that year. In hindsight using such an early year hindered me a lot from using a lot of 80 tropes but I wanted capture the early 80s feel.
