Description
This piece took me through an adventure of space, shape and color! I was trying to attack the challenge against nature. When we view any item in the flesh, nature has a way of working out the lights and darks so that we can view the 3d item with our own eyes. When we paint a scene with a common space either interior exterior, it is almost an equation to solve with the science of accurate observation. What I am trying to do is to take multiple spaces with multiple figures and still make the space work without flattening everything. If I combine a light space with a dark space or a lighted figure with a darkened figure, the process becomes more complex. I am still in the beginning of my journey. I hope this make sense to the reader and viewer.

I labeled the painting "11:55" because by the play of hands to the clock and the use of actual hands, they would read 11:55 am/pm.
