Welcome to my first Rainmeter Suite! "Edge" is a powerful Rainmeter Suite that focuses on providing multiple User support for your different needs based on location, situation, or Windows machine, while delivering the latest Rainmeter features through a wide variety of skins. Furthermore, "Edge" is designed to provide a very easy environment for theming, making it the only suite that will be able to transform to match *any* Windows Visual Style (more about "Themes" in the future).Skins included:

Rainmeter 2.4 beta r1598 is required. Get it from here .
General Guide
When you install "Edge", the Start skin will be loaded automatically. It is a wizard skin, which will guide you through the necessary steps to use the suite. Creating a User is mandatory. Even if you just want to use "Edge" without all the extra User features, you must create a new User.
Lastly, the wizard prompts you to enter some more variables, and explain how skins work. It will be expanded in the future.
Skin abilities
Most of the skins come with some shared abilities, to create a consistent suite experience. Some of them include:
- The Edit button: This button launches a GUI which let you easily change User variables. RIGHT click opens the variables file in your default config editor.
- MIDDLE click: Middle clicking on ANY skin background will close the skin. Personal Preference, so I would like your opinion about that.
- Hover: Hovering many skins enables some buttons and options that weren't visible before.
- Scroll wheel: Many skins support scrolling for changing pages and items. Make sure to check that out.
PLEASE, PLEASE PLEASE visit the the forum thread , where a FAQ, detailed Instructions and help are waiting for you. Also, consider that this is a stable, but beta release, so there may be problems. Please try to contact me, to get them solved.

My only problem is, for the life of me I can't get the weather to work! Any thoughts on why?
The code is set on the @resourser/user/.../options config settings ...as well as on the start skin, but none work, even trying different city codes in the LLLL#### format.

I've visited the FAQ page, but there doesn't seem to be anything about inserting a weather code.Β
It'd also be very nice if this had a Recycle Bin module. The skin is absolutely beautiful, but it's missing two heavy functionality modules that break the deal.

Hi! I really love this theme, but I seem to be having some sort of bug and I think it is not working properly. Yes, I've read the FAQ, but this is totally different as there is no trace of such issue I have.
When I'm installing the theme a setup screen appears and asks me for username, dropbox, weather code, etc., you know the drill. The thing is, when I enter any of the variables it asks me, they just disappear! For example, there is a dummy variable 'USER', I type the username I want and when I click outside of it or NEXT button the field goes empty. Exactly the same thing happens with weather any other things in this setup of yours. Going back does not reset the text fields, there is no way to click on them and the typing cursor | does not appear.
I've noticed this when I couldn't get weather to work and my username folder is not present anywere in ~resources > Users.
I'm still able to use all the skins like notes, system, clock, etc., but I really would like to get weather to work.
I'm running Windows 7 64-bit and latest stable realese of Rainmeter - 3.0.2 r2161 64-bit.
Please tell me what I'm doing wrong or how to set things up manually.

This is exactly what I have been looking for. I've always loved wallpapers but hated how big they looked on my 32" TV or even a monitor. The wallpaper skin is EXACTLY what I needed! On top of that, everything is nice, clean, semi-transparent, and has an easy interface! I do admit I was confused on everything at first, but I looked through the comments, support, FAQ, and used logic to piece everything together. I came through and am developing my most favorite desktop EVER! I've never been so happy.

Do you refer to the wallpaper skin? Or the preview's wallpaper? If you have a problem with a skin, please open the Log and send me a note with the issue that appears.

I Don't know if i did Something wrong but I looked it up Several times and with no luck i am unable to find anything regarding my issue. well I followed everything correctly with setting the weather but when i open the Skin it just shows a tiny little circle and the log says Webparser.dll: [mWeather] Matching error! (-1) Is there some simple trick i am missing?.. Sometimes i miss the simple things

Please load the "Actions" skin and left click the "Edit" button to access the Suite variables. Verify there that "Weather" and "WeatherUnit" have been set correctly. Also, please share them to me, so that I can try with your location.

Thank you for using Edge! As far as Notes is concerned, that is a known issue. I'll try to fix it in the next version. For now, open the skin and set CodePage=1251 under the [mNotes] section. Google Reader can't do any of these, if you want to do it you have to do it manually. Making the fonts smaller is quite easy, just lower the FontSize settings in the skin. The maxinum number per page is more difficult, though, you 'll have to edit the .lua file.

Oh, I see. Yes, a beta Rainmeter version is required. Don't worry though, a Rainmeter beta is a beta only by name; it is completely stable.
