Description
A Marine embraces his fallen brother, having just dragged him into cover.for 's contest. Thanks for the extension!
Tried out something a little different on the background. I kinda like it.
But I'm not sure how it works with the style of the figures. Thoughts?His rifle = FAIL!
Why does no one ever have photo refs of the angle/position I need?

This is such a hard pose to make work. This piece went through 3 versions... ususally it comes out looking super stiff/awkward... ;/
So I'm very glad I got it to a version that is effective!

I think I know what you mean - I find it can be hard to make the lying/sitting positions look heavy and relaxed, especially when perspective comes into play. You did great here

Yes, it's the trick of getting a sense of weight, without 'engaging' the muscles. I don't know if that makes sense. I want the figure to look limp, but heavy.
