Another view of the galaxy
Drowning deeper into Melancholy
I spent ~7 hours on this manipulation. I wanted to change of my 'usual' format and colours. Okay I used blue again, but I used red as well! I am quite satisfied of the final result: this diptych looks impressive, even to me. I mean, the stereotype of Heaven is angels, happiness and purity. But I am not sure of it. Maybe Heaven is just a kind of another galaxy... in which we are maybe the same persons as today, but we cannot die anymore.
While creating I listened to Mors Syphilitca 'Feather and Fate', and to Coldplay.

awesome. i cant really tell if the models are the same person but they are beautiful and really fit in nicely. ive seen manip's that have tried to get the same effect (not the same exact photo) and you have done a great job accomplishing that.

been sitting here staring at this for a while now...
i personally don't think heaven is real... you're right though, the stereotypes are angels, happiness and purity. i guess i see heaven and hell as what you make of it and not as a pre-set thing... the view of heaven i see before me now is a cold and somber place (heh reminds me of the sterile archaic essence of the catholic church)... i look at hell and i see much of the same thing... so where the hell can one go if both places are the same?
i guess the same frustration is shared by the two faces in this picture... reflecting the places they are at

This is simply amazing. I mean the emotion is definately there, and the concept is really creative. I mean you've managed to take something cliche like heaven and hell and twist it up and create something totally original. Awesome, simply awesome.

I sorta agree with you. I mean I think Heaven has angel but I don't believe that angels are happy and joyous, like the stereotype. What if angels were just like us? What if they feel lonely sometimes? Anyways, I really like this picture, it explains a lot and it sorta relates to me.
