Nice art here. You set the mood for verge of temporary separation scene. The center window on the building in the foreground seems strange. Also I think there is too much focus on the camera, and focus may not be distributed properly on Yosuke and Chie. I'd detail the couple up a bit more for frame balance.Other than that nice Art.

Yeah, I know the feeling. So long as she's all right; that's all that matters.
I ...tried... playing Persona 3, but it was after 4, and the game mechanics of the older one felt very clunky. I'm usually the one in my house who likes to grind, but I found it very frustrating in P3. I liked some of the characters (Junpei, Aigis, Koromaru) quite a bit, but for the most part I found the dark feel of it...off-putting. I'm more drawn these days to lighter (occasionally sillier) fare, like P4, and Katamari and Borderlands and the like. Bright games, I guess you'd say.
I haven't been back to Japan in a few years, and I miss it terribly. Kyoto is my second hometown, so I have very fond memories of it, and I'm itching to bring my impressions of the city into my writing. I don't think that that story will ever get posted (because, really, it will just be self-indulgence), but I'm excited to put it to paper.
The big problem with Japan is that it's so darn expensive, almost no matter where you go. Countryside is cheaper to stay, but you have to get out there. City is more expensive, but way more convenient. For such a small geographical size, it's crazy what things cost!
But I love it. If you ever get the chance to go, I highly recommend it!

I felt the same way about P3. I know that the story is supposed to be more resonant, and the sacrifice is supposed to be so moving, but it's hard to feel that way for a silent protagonist. I remember when the Final Fantasy games started talking to me, that was when I really started to "feel" for the characters. I understand the value of the silent Main Character, so the player can identify, but what if you make your MC a jerk? You'll be glad he makes the ultimate sacrifice!
This is a bit left-field, but I do know of hostels that will provide for students visiting Japan for a period of time. They're a bit less private than a hotel or whatever, but significantly cheaper. I think there's one in Kyoto, too! A friend of mine was there as part of his school's exchange program, but I also know of a few folks who just traveled on their own for a few weeks, to see what they could see. The nice thing is that, depending on what part of the country you're in, you can do lots of sightseeing for free or close to it (assuming you're into things like nature hiking and the like).
Okay, I'll shut up about Japan, now. I don't want to lose another friend from all my opinions!
