Over the spring of 2019 I was involved in a Yuri on Ice musical charity zine project, Bright Lights, with proceeds benefiting The Trevor Project . I chose Moulin Rouge! as my musical with Yuuri as Christian and Victor as Satine and ended up developing an entire AU concept around it with a close friend of mine. Ours has a better ending than the source material, though, imo... nobody dies!
The scraps of paper read "I Love You" in Japanese and Russian.
