Again, these are Jake and Maria, my original character designs. They're both dancers which is how they met.
And might I add I'm pretty damn proud of that bandana. lol

Absolutely beautiful. I'm a ballet dancer (have been for the past 17 years of my life) and it always drives me nuts when paintlings/sculptures/etc put the dancers in a really screwy pose

I love this! When I found it the first time, I got so excited because I'm a dancer or used to be, anyway, and I'm fascinated with it, especially ballet. The anatomy on this is gorgeous and their positioning is perfect. I really envy your ability to draw people like this, especially in such difficult positions.

really cool idea.. but i think the leg of the girl isnt right. I danced over 7 years ballet and when i look at the pic, just something is wrong. I think it is the hip and the food of the leg in the front. But great art. Really.

I'm not sure which leg you're talking about, but if it's her left leg that's up in the air that looks odd, the knee and foot were going back away from the camera in the photo I used as reference, which was kind of difficult to portray in the drawing. So... yeah. I just copied what I saw. lol (I danced ballet/tap/jazz for 5 years, too.)
