Description
This is a random concept that popped into my head while listening to "The Beauty is Within Us" from the Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex soundtrack. It's basically just a brooding Inuyasha pic, staring at the moon.Wallpaper will be posted within the next day or so.

Oh, his expression is simply fantastic. I found myself just staring at his eyes, they're so beautiful. You have done an excellent job in capturing emotion in his face. His brooding makes you wonder what many thoughts are going through his head. Simply breath-taking!

wow. this is definitely one of your more impressive pieces. the colors are so intense, and I love the "moonlight" effect that's happening. Do you use the airbrush tool to shade??

I use the airbrushes to shade, and then I use the smudge tool to blend the colors and make them stretch where I want them to go. I know a lot of people recommend dodging and burning, but I've never tried.

I've used the airbrush tool, and I've also used burn and dodge. Stick to the airbrush. The dodge tool works great for highlights in hair, but I found that for most everything else, the airbrush looks nicer. I haven't used the smudge tool yet. I'll try that!! thanks for sharing!!
