DAILY SKETCH - #30 - Monday, September 22, 2008"Flint" from the original GI Joe: A Real American Hero series.
This dude kicked all kinds of ass, one of the best additions to the Joe team, and the main squeeze of Lady Jaye (until she got killed off in the Devil's Due series and he went a bit loco for a while). Shotguns rule.

Thanks, yeah I just signed up this month... they are on Battlelines and older less finished ones where on a joe comic forum
I am glad you are trying to do more G.I. Joe sketches not that I don't like your transformers sketches and other 80's toon and comic character ones sketches too because I do but I do really love your take on G.I. Joe... by the way new CC one is really good.

i'm considering it, i'm just starting to think now it might be a wee bit too much for me to handle, but I'll see. At the very least, I'll start doing more Joes, possibly even have a "Joe" week every so often if I can't hack a 3rd sketch every day. I'll figure it all out somehow, lol but I DO want to draw more joes.

i always thought that flint had the most solid design of all the joes. i'm not skilled enough at character design to know why, and even if was i'm not sure i'm good enough with words to be able to explain it properly. i just know that everything seems to work together somehow. even if i don't end up voting for this sketch at the end of the week, i wouldn't mind if he wins at all.

Yeah, there was just "something" about Flint that worked. Words escape me as well :-P
And his attitude and voice helped make it work too :-P

it be nice, but probably wont happen. The fans want the Sarge. HASBRO wants the Sarge. THE FREAKIN SARGE HIMSELF WANTS THE SARGE!!!
But WWF (or WWE or whatever it is now) owns the rights to the character and those rights for toys and media aren't with Hasbro

Not to mention he's dad of Marissa Fairborn (if you think of the Transformers G1 cartoon as part of G.I Joe).
