My first attempt at realism..ish... I hope I didn't suck TOO bad D:Degus. Omg, my love for these little guys is indescribable. I used to own 10 of them a long time ago, 2 of them being my breeding pair. I had a second pair I was hoping to breed as well, but they were too young, and I had to sell them before I got the chance. I'm currently in the process of looking for two young ones, male and female, so I can breed them and start owning degus again. You have to get them young in order to tame them
And before you ask, no they are not rats,mice,hamsters, or gerbils. They're related to chinchillas and guinea pigs.

I FREAKING LOVE THESE CREATURES. I am gonna breed them some day, I've decided. Basenjis too if possible lol (breed of dog that acts like a cat and cannot properly bark unless raised with barking dogs because they imitate sounds)

Very very realistic. Only thing that makes it a bit cartoony is the way the eyes are shaded/highlighted ..

I love this pic! i had one one befor. i mad a pic of her somewhere in my gallery. vary neat. her name was monty. she was the best pet i ever had. she and I were close. she loved almons. and i loved to give her dust bathes! she lived 8 years!

Related to a chinchilla hm? Maybe that's why I liked them when I saw them. (being an owner of a chinchilla AND a guinea pig).
