Description The Gorge Nature Trail, located at Sharon Woods Gorge within Hamilton County, Ohio, meanders nearly a mile through the 90-foot limestone glacial cut gorge of Sharon Creekβ€”the forest above the gorge consists of maple, beech, tulip-poplar, ash, hickory, walnut, and oak, all of which set the gorge ablaze with color in the autumn

If you ever visit Cincinnati, make time to stop by Sharon Woods Park. I'm sure you'll love it.

You're far too kind! Thank you. I believe I can take a better one with warmer lighting.

Thank you! I'm glad you like it. I used a neutral density filter for the long exposure.

I just realized you are here in Ohio. I live here in Columbus, there is not much here it's all plain grounds. All the good place to shoot is down there in Cinci. I was wondering if you could try combining a long exposure like this one with HDR (at least 3 frames) if you ever get a chance and let me know if that would work i am just curious.

I don't see why it wouldn't. I would just have to take 2 more shots... 1 overexposed and 1 underexposed to merge them. I have only been to Columbus once for the Transyberian Orchestra. It was a sweet show! The downtown area looked pretty boring though.

Thank you! I set a goal for myself to hike more, because a) it is healthy and b) exploring results in cool photo opportunities.

No problem! I totally get that. When I walk to/from school, it's feels good and I like looking at the skies.

We're gonna have to get you a pocketable camera like the Fuji X100s then. You can take snaps daily.
