Decided to start doing a bunch of props based around a kind of fantasy theme, inspired by some rough concept art I saw on a forum. Started with the green potion bottle, and went from there basically. I have no plans to stop at the moment, but I figured I should post what I DO have, so I can try and get a few ideas for things.This isn't for anything in particular, more just to get some more decent bult into my personal portfolio. All of these have been created in 2 days, or a few hours worth if you wanna be technical, and are all low-poly.
ANY ideas will be appreciated, so long as they fit with a similar theme. I'll see what I can do.
Edit: Added a bunch of new things, including a bookshelf thing, clock, fishtank and fish, as well as a plant. Any more ideas??
Also took a closeup of the fish, 'cuz I like its texture. It's called the Goofangler Fish.

Thanks! Gosh I miss those days of 3D, low-poly goodness. These days it's all about super high-poly photo-realistic 3D and I doubt i'd have a talent for that.
Bring back the low-poly, that's what I say!

Not only do I love the fact that it is three dimensional, but it also has an off kilter, skewed cartoon appearance that I adore. This reminds me of items or props that I would see in a Rayman game. Very professional and excellent work.

Hahaha, funny you should mention Rayman, because i'd JUST bought Rayman 3 for PC and chances are it's what inspired me to do these in the first place

Maybe a next step with this stuff is to make a actual room, just a small one to begin with, fill the room with these props. Then you can see how they look in an actual enviroment. You can work your way up from there. Cool fish too

this is a good start. I like the setting you gave it, how the green potion is in a cauldron in a tranquil, peaceful setting rather than some dark and evil dungeon.

Very nice. I can't quite put my finger on what style of game this reminds me of... Probably some kind of Rareware game, or maybe Jak and Daxter. Either way, everything here is very well done, especially the pot and table/cupboard. Did you make the textures yourself too?

These are awesome! They look like they'd fit perfectly into a game, wich makes it a lot cooler
I only saw the two potions over at the forum, but I have to say that the new additions looks a lot cooler, I especially like the cauldron.
Perhaps you could do a skull, a bone, or some bottle with a brain or some eyes in them, that seems like something that'd fit for this.
The textures are also very nice, were those done by yourself?

Hmm...maybe a rug/bit of carpet at the side to set the scene, whether raggy, fancy or moderate?
Just an idea....
test tubes, flasks, steam, bubbling, fire.....fireplace.....torches.....experiments....rats....(oops getting overboard......>_<

The only thing I can think to recommend at the meoment is a spellbook or something, since this seems like a wizard/alchemist's lab theme.

I still say these are awesome! They have a kooky style and I can totally picture them in the lab of some mad crazy scientist guy, chibi-fied of course. I think my fav is the candleabra, the texture job is great on that and ALL of it!
Ideas? A broom. Make a broom, Fantasia-style
