Here's a colour concept of a character I designed (for a class assignment - I'm in the process of modelling him)I was trying to think up a name, then Xeros (well, zerosu) came to mind, so er, I went with it
Just thought I'd add, I've posted a couple of screenshots on my artblog if anyone's interested: [link] - scroll past the scribbles;;

armor are nice things to draw! :3 Particularly I like your design, reminds me something about final fantasy style, pretty cool.

Ah hehe. I agree, but at the same time, too much armor, or rather too complex a design can make it tedious to draw all the time...
Though I'd say complexity and/or a lot of detail is a good thing

Yep, I'm studying 3D animation at the moment. My level isn't that of, say, Square Enix, but hopefully one day I'll get to that level...

know what you mean, myself for exemple, I love to draw armors, but I'm suck when I have to make a character with armor in a dynamic pose, because in real life a armor limits movement, and the most times my armors do not get a natural movement, so I don't have courage to post anything here on DA yet. xP
I saw some 3D on your blog, seens you have a nice knowledge of it, besides, you could be my teacher cause i don't know nothing about this! x)
also I'm not doing game design yet, currently product design, but I'm wanting to change my license for game design,that is what I really love, and my dream is to work for a great game company, like Nintendo. ^^
