I'm personally not entirely sure of what circumstances lead to the creation of such a nation, but from the information I've been told and what else I could garner, it appears that the Illyrian movement of the early 19th century is more widely implemented throughout what would become Yugoslavia - The kingdom of Serbia and the State of Slovenes, Croats and Serbs - which would not only spread unity throughout the multitude of people groups but also allow for more Irredentist thoughts throughout the population now accustomed to the unifying idea of an Illyrian state, allowing for the acquisition of Albania, for example.
The full story neither I nor you, dear readers, am slash are aware of, but does not the mystique add to the flavour? A mystical land of mysterious mystery, with square province flags like the cantons of Switzerland, a claim to the ancients and aspects of Medieval circles in its' administration? Just makes you want to know more, ey? Perhaps in the optimistic future, we may learn a thing or two about such a nation, both in history and in modern times.
