It turns out that 2 was just resting (insert dead parrot joke here ). 5 and 9 are both happy to see him, but the celebration is cut short when 2 points out that the Cat Beast isn't far away. 9 sees the beast pawing at something, but turns and runs back to 5 and 2 before he can see it pull out the talisman and hold it up to a familiar-looking outlet.
