This is actually the first piece of gift!art for . This was drawn before the end of the manga came out. Drew it off of one shot fic 'Summer Afternoon' [link] hence the title.Was never completely happy with Kagome in this. *growling* This is what happens when my bunny Canon takes over total creative prowess of my art.

I started out with just faces. I've expanded my comfort zone considerably and I'm still pushing my limit. You just got to push your self. I know it sounds cheezy. But that is just me. *grinning*

haha. I might have to do that sometime. I can never seem to get all the details I want when I draw more than the face. >_<
I have a pic of Kagome which is one of my favorites that I have drawn. Its just her face though. No surprise there.

I think it's a beautiful piece. We always wind up being our own harshest critic. As I have said before, I wish I had half of your drawing talent. I can only do stick people. LOL

Thanks so much! LOL I blame it on the bakground.....the background distracted me. Well, I'm definately not a background artist. Most of my stuff has no background for that reason, but with this one it NEEDED the background to make it work.

I think I came pretty close to the last scene in the manga without ever seeing it. LOL I'm totally happy how Inu came out. Kagome just looks proportionately impotent (for lack of a better word) to me anyway. New one posting tonight. I think you are really going to like this one. *giggling* I'm very pleased with it.

did a plushie of him... and his hair kind of reminded me of a hydrant.. which got me thinking about InuYasha and his doggie side.... which led to the Crack!Pic being formed of Crusnik clamping a hand to his face while Inu does the toddler's pee dance near him eye-ing his hair and thinking "Hydrant" and whimpering....
