Oh Donna Noble, I knew I'd have to return to you at some point.

Every single one of the other companions left the TARDIS being more than what they had been when they first stepped inside. Donna, while she had reached incredible heights she lost it all in the end being returned to her old life unchanged and thinking she was worthless.
Easily the saddest send-off for me so far. I've just watched Journey's End for the second time and again it made me cry with actual tears, which is a very rare thing alone.

(BTW Ten's hair is not that bright in the actual drawing, but after taking a kajillion photos I've just stopped caring. )
