heres a pic i did for a battle at LH for world of warcraft. the battle was a main character only, no other stuff, just pencils. my pic is of my character in game, an Undead Priest.theres another video game battle going on, the OFFICIAL nov LH battle, look for a collab from me and tom *kotchin on that one!

it is indeed online. it releases on the 23rd... tho im not quite sure where it would release outside of the US... i think maybe korea is on the 23rd as well... im a bit out of touch im afraid...

Nice character design and body language. The flowing hair really looks cool too, and you managed to make the eyes looks hollowed out...difficult but cool effect.
Looks kinda flat, and less detailed than you normaly do...probably just a concept sketch tho.

thanks! as far as it being flat, i kinda wanted it open for colours... plus, its not TRULY my design, as this is exactly what my character looks like in the game... so really its blizzards concept, i think they didnt force details in everywhere so they could make the game run better... hahah...

Yeah, I notice there isn't much detail on the actual game models, as compared to the concept art.
Did you hear that the collectors edition of Wow is coming in a box set with 200 page Wow Art book?! Damn....I might but the game just for the book and then trade it in....(I would keep and play it but I play too much games as it is, and I would have to buy a new comp just to be able to run it...)

You have to let me know how good the art book is. I already have the Warcraft 3 art book, which has some Wow stuff in it, and use that all the time. If the Wow book is all new stuff, I will have to pick it up (even if I have to buy the game for 100$ and trade it in for like 40, taking a 60$ loss), its worth it, because I really love the art style and will use it a ton for reference and inspiration.
Its dropping next week or so, right?

the original announcement was that all characters would be wiped and everyone would be starting from level one at release. theyve since said that they would consider keeping characters from Open Beta, but havent made another announcement.

oh they are for sure wiping them. the Open Beta servers all go down tommorow and they are wiping and cleaning everything. i probably put in 3 days all together since the last stress and then open beta... i got to be 22 very casually. in my guild the highest guy was 34, for the most part tho we were 20-28. no one really expected to keep the characters so we didnt pl them. there was a guy tho, who was 52. i still insist it was an exploit and refuse to believe otherwise.

nice use of darks.... they add a nice touch to adding depth and volume to your work. I also, once again, like the sublte posing that you ahve done here. The flow of lines is also working well here.
My only complaint is that the face seems a little smooshed, especially around the mouth. I would think you would want to elongate it more.
If this sees some colors, I am gonna have to fav this for sure.

i can see what you mean about the face bro. but honestly, thats kind of the look i was going for... the characters are all a bit exaggerated in certain areas, the feet and hands are huge for example... also, its kind of supposed to be looking at him from a slightly lower angle... ah well. but i see what you mean. i had colours in mind when i drew this up, so i might try to tackle em myself... you might get to fave it yet. hahah! thanks a lot for the comment bro!
