Background: In this universe, Elisa Boyle's dearest brother Andrew is killed mercilessly at the hands of the Joker, thus sending her over the boiling point. Worse still is that Joker is simply sent back to Arkham Asylum, rather than being executed for this heinous act. This completely enrages Elisa, to the point in which she actually considers breaking her mentor Batman's one rule, by killing the Joker herself. She lashes out at those whom try to stop Elisa and talk some sense into her. And the tragic and brutal loss of practically the only family she's ever had left, clouds her judgement. Consumed by anger, and fully bereft of all common sense, she's eventually sought out by an all powerful Red Lantern ring, which has sensed her rage and desire for vengeance from far out in space. This red power ring speaks to Elisa, claiming that is can grant her wish for killing the Joker and avenging Andrew, and that nothing and no-one will stand in her way. With nothing left to lose, Elisa blindly agrees to the ring's offer and bonds with it, thus becoming an all new Red Lantern. Gone is the Manoeuvre Girl of old. And from this fallen hero's ashes, the Scarlet Hood is born. Gaining this newfound might, she totally obliterates the Joker without a moment's hesitation, much to Batman's dismay. Worse still is that she doesn't stop at the Joker alone. Blissfully unaware to the fact that the Red Lantern power ring is slowly draining her life force, Elisa hungers for more death and destruction, with her mind fully corrupted by darkness. Spreading her fire and chaos across the face of the Earth, not even the likes of Batman, Superman, and the Green Lantern Corps, are enough to stop her. Everyone dies in her wake. And even if it means spreading her wave of death throughout even a parallel universe with another Justice League. everyone is going to feel her loss...

Out of a sense of boredom lately, and with my good friend Delita-1 's approval, here's how I imagine her superhero character Manoeuvre Girl appearing as a villain in a parallel universe. In this case, a fully corrupt and merciless Red Lantern, who goes by the name of Scarlet Hood. She's basically the "Batman who Laughs" type character really, albeit as a woman, having destroyed practically everything and everyone in her wake out of a blind sense of vengeance. Yes, she really loved her brother Andrew THAT much... She is definitely NOT to be trifled with. As they say, "Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned." ^.^
