Description Name: Jonathan Crane
Age: 40 (circa 2005)
Year of Birth: 1965
Gender: Male
Home Planet: Earth
Supervillain alias: The Scarecrow
Universe: The Batman
Home City: Gotham
Weapons: Scythe, fear gas, Jack-O-Bombs.
Profession: College Counselor, in Psychology.
Background: A natural born psychiatrist; Jonathan Crane specialises in the human fear factor, working in Gotham Central College in counselling young students, as they share their personal fears and phobias with him. It would seem helpful, but in secret, Crane exploits these fears. Feeds off them even. So much so, that he visits their homes at night, under the identity of "The Scarecrow", and practically forces them to experience their own personal fears with his own fear inducing toxins - thus making these students too afraid to even go to College, and putting the College's business at risk, wasting a huge ton of money in the process. Money that should have rightfully been Crane's in the first place. For him alone, this is personal.

Out of a sense of boredom lately, here's how I imagine Jonathan Crane/The Scarecrow appearing in "The Batman" 2004 Animated Series - partly combining elements of Jonathan Crane from "Batman Begins", and the Spellbinder in "Batman Beyond" - acting like an honest businessman and exploiting other people's weaknesses. And yes, I totally picture him being voiced by good ol' Brent Spiner as well, because why not. ^.^
