(update) some notes on their names:
I decided to make kris an azurite solely based on their dark world colors, but after looking into it, I found that azurites represent wisdom, and are used to soothe the mind and heart and better communication, which I think will end up becoming crucial to kris’ development in later chapters
odontaspis’ name comes from a genus of sand sharks, which she (probably) isn’t, but I wanted a name that references teeth. plus I couldnt ignore the idea after finding out that a certain member of the genus is named odontaspis aculeatus
ranunculus is a genus that contains several species of buttercups, which is more of a homage to their importance in undertale than anything. But the genus is very broad, so after looking again, I think something like repens or arvensis would work better, but im not sure because ranunculus just sounds cool
