i actually got this during my junior year. the flute i had b4 this one is the flute i learned to play on. i had it since 4th grade. as long as you take good care of it your good. i will say that open hole flute dramatically increase the tone quality though. that's this flute. It's wonderful. It's harder. but its well worth it. but sometimes i think its overpriced. i mean my old flute is just as good as this one. (i just got a good deal on a new flute with a piccolo. and my dad said lets get it)

Mine is one of the more expencive ones. Its better than a yamaha, but, not as good as my best friend's pro flue. She got it early.
My aunt also has one of the open holed flutes. Its in poor condition, but she played it every day before Her kids, and I were born... its been many years since, but its still playable... anyway, Im rambling off... XD

yeh, i want to get an open hole flute when i'm good enough. my parents are already saving up, i was thinking of getting a miramatsu. but i'm gonna have a look at some other makes too and get reccomendations off people.

I broke out the old saxophone a few weeks back, and i'm still kind of shaky on it.
I took a pic of me with it already, But I should take some pics of it specifically. they wouldn't be like this though, since its old and worn, and many times used. I think I'd focus more on the flaws that make it unique.
This is more about the spaces created by the light , you couldn't do that with my old sax.
