A warm-up sketch based on a girl I saw on the way home from work. I actually chased after her for a few blocks with my sketchbook out (in the rain) partly because I'm an eedjiot, but mostly because I really liked her look. (i swear i'm not a stalker!)Related content

I've followed interesting-looking folks in the street before. I used to hang around downtown "hunting" for people to draw.

HAHAA! You chased after her - in the rain?? Sorry, I laugh because this is the sort of thing I'm having to for my recent Fine Art project.
I was talking with a mate about surrepticiously taking photo's of people around college, and if they see me I'll be all "Oops! Silly broken camera taking random photographs *shifty look* I'll just (not)delete that!" *winning grin*

The context makes it more obvious, but just looking at the picture gives a cool sense of stuff not seen (her lip-biting, casual glance, arm out for balance and suchness).

You are thus a creeper. I like the mental image of you scuttling along after someone with your sketchbook, though--very amusing. (sounds a little like something we might see in Shrub Monkeys.)
Her expression is just noticing you--next frame she'll be panicked and running.
From art point of view, I love the way every line indicates movement in your work. That's not [link] to this drawing, however, it's in all your art.

I DID THAT YESTERDAY. DAMN, it was this random dude at a bus stop (unfortunately, I was /in/ a bus, so it wasn't really all that easy to of and chase after him, but I did follow him in the window to the back of the bus XD). I saw him and pretty much decided, RIGHT THEN AND THERE, that he would be the subject of my next peice of writing.... (this one might turn out to be a novella, actually....
