Day 29: Design Your Own Chess Piece[s]. I clearly have The Last Five Years on the brain today, but at least it finally gave me a semi-interesting idea for some unique chess pieces. Poor Jamie and Cathy... A king and queen playing the same game, but on opposing teams.

Thank you! And yes, quite sad. I did another piece of them colored and standing closer together, since they ended up fitting together so well after all. Maybe I'll post that one soon.

It fits the theme pretty well after all! We had a good time deciding what all the pieces on each of their sides would be (like books and pens and laptops for him and music notes and drama masks and little Ohios for her).
