This is probably my favorite Wicked drawing I've ever done to date. I just really like the shape of the composition and the characters' expressions. (Though I do wish it didn't cut off their feet.)
(I should say I'm not nearly the fan of Wicked I once was, though I still enjoy listening to it now and then. I just think there are SO many great musicals these days, and it bugs me when people claim to be huge musical fans, and all they really know or care about are Phantom, Les Mis and/or Wicked. Branch out, people!)

Wizard of Oz is my favorite movie of all time, so when Wicked came out I was all over that like stripes on a suit (but my favorite musical is probably Sweeney Todd

Hey, they're both great. I know there's great musicals. I've always loved Les Mis, and that and Wicked are the only two plays I've seen from beginning to end live.

And you're absolutely right about people often caring only about "huge" musicals. I enjoy them too, but I also love the "smaller" shows like Thoroughly Modern Millie or The Triumph of Love.

Oh yes, my list goes on and on! At the moment my top obsessions are Catch Me If You Can and Newsies, always Parade and Ragtime, and Bonnie & Clyde is really growing on me. Thank you!
