Kida is apparently unimpressed by something. Every time I watch Atlantis I'm so drawn to Kida's character, I think her animation is just so dynamic and compelling. It seems like I've done a lot of Kida art here and there, but this is one from a recent sketchbook. Her proportions are a tad off, but I like the shape and attitude of it.

It really is! I think in a few ways it could have been better maybe, but I enjoy it so much that I never really mind. Kida is definitely a high point of the movie.

YES! I am soooo happy Kida is here! I love this movie to death, but hardly anyone ever acknowledges it or her as one of the Disney princesses.

That is why it's so amazing. Plus there are some awesome supporting characters and a really good bad-guy. Also the soundtrack matches each scene perfectly.

I saw Atlantis once - I thought the story wasn't very clear or well-developed, but I LOVED the art style. It was a very visually beautiful movie, and the stylized characters were fabulously drawn.

Yeah, it wasn't a perfect story, but the style was definitely unique and interesting. I should watch it again sometime soon.
