This was made today after an idea i had while trying to sleep. Originally it was supposed to have 2 guys, but one of them would have the "Tought" comming out of him too...for some reason i tought it would be better just like this, it also can transmit another messageRelated content

This guy looks a little bit like Mitt Romney from the USA Presidential Elections 2012. I won't get into my opinions on him, but yea.. I thought you had some some type of political piece when I first saw this.

When I first saw this, it instantly reminded me of Marcel Duchamp and his lithographs, particularly Rue Transnonian and Gargantua, which were both pieces with political commentary. I do wish the message was more succinct, with more clues to who the man is, potentially and what he has to do with truth. Also I wish the "truth" figure's face was more....truth-y (if that makes sense, haha.) Good concept overall, though.
I also appreciate the drawing style and technique in this image--particularly the use of shading and highlights in his face and hair, although it is hard to identify the light source.
I don't know if you noticed, but it kind of looks like the "truth" figure goes through his head, and continues down his arm. And now that I noticed, I can't stop thinking of it as a spear that goes through his head. (This could be a good or bad thing, however.)
I kind of wish that the drips from the "truth" figure were more exaggerated, all with the same directionality (you have some of the drips pointing up) I really appreciate that you payed attention to detail enough to make the man drool. nice addition.
These are just some of my thoughts. I hope they helped with this piece, or inspired something new.

First of all let me star bu saying that i really appreciate that you took your time to do such an in-depth critique. About the message and the elemens on the piece,...like the description says, that image just poped in my head at night, i dint really had any message to it, but as i was working on it i felt that guy should look like a politician or a business man ( thats why i gave him a suit). The truth here appears to show that for most politicians ( if not all) it is really hard to say the truth so for them it comes out like that, in a painful way, not like any ordinary person, at least its just my interpretation and people are free to thing diferently

Great concept! I really like the idea and how iconographic it looks. Immediate and eyecatching. I like the composition and how detailed it looks, despite being so "graphic". Good job!
