Based on a prompt from the Gemsona Week Discord chat about making your gemsonas into desserts!

The desserts here are all labelled~

Moonstone is unsurprisingly a mooncake, but it's also because she's not actually really sugary and bubbly, as she's reserved and shy, and mooncakes aren't usually super sweet.
Emerald is a high-society Gem on Homeworld, so I designed her as English scones. I wanted her dessert to go well with Moonstone's (hence both of them being with tea), because they're lovers~

Hambergite is based on hamburgers, but that's not a dessert haha. So I made him and his favourite Gem Hessonite into a literal cinnamon roll! Hambergite is a cinnamon roll, and Hessonite is like cinnamon.

Nephrite and Jade get to be almond jelly and egg tarts, traditional Chinese desserts. Again, neither of them are super sweet, hence the sweets chosen. Nephrite is the jelly, and Jade is the egg tart!
Their adopted little brother Jadeite and his friend Pink Pearl are tangyuan soup, which is another traditional Chinese dessert - sweet and soft, but not too sugary.

Now Maroon Pearl and Turquoise Pearl are also lovers, and I made them into an ice cream sundae (mint and strawberry). Because they're both rather reserved (Turquoise is cold and Maroon is shy), but they're both still sweet. In fact, it would help cool you off after you suffer the burning intense heat and spiciness of Maroon Pearl's abusive former owner, Carnelian (hence the peppers haha).

Also my bby bean Eye Agate is a waffle and ice cream dessert with fruits arranged in the way of a flower because that's how he is - sweet but not too sweet; a little plain; and less of a traditional dessert.
