So idek what the idea behind this one was. x'D
I was just doodling one day and I basically designed a fun, tiny little Rose Quartz and another Pearl (throughout summer school I have designed a lot of Pearls haha).

Then maybe it became a challenge to design a group based on the Crystal Gems who were kind of opposites despite being similar Gems?
It was like...I wanted to challenge myself to design Gems based on the canonical information we've currently been given about canonical Gems that could appear as if they were actually gonna be in the show.
...Or something like that. xP

About the honourary Crystal Gems part, some of you may already know I have a number of:
a) Defected Gems who later join the Crystal Gems - not as a core cast, but as honourary back-up secondary factions
b) Defected Gems on the loose who may or may not butt heads with the Crystal Gems once in awhile
c) Homeworld Gems who are loyal to Homeworld or may possibly defect in the far future
-And a sub-section of c) are the Gem Labs, which include scientist Gems working for Homeworld and the Diamonds - which may or may not become an open roleplay group maybe in the future.

Also don't mind the "Starry-Eyed Gems" part haha. I can't think of a name for this group OTL. "Starry-Eyed" is something made up on the fly and chosen on a whim. It is totally subject to change, or maybe I just won't even have a real group name for them. Idk. xD

Biographies:

Cream Pearl: Nervous and even a bit cowardly, Cream Pearl is an overall fun and geeky Pearl who defected from Homeworld. He and Rose Quartz are very close.

Rose Quartz: Born into a Kindergarten and considered a runt, she managed to ally herself with Dark Amethyst, who would protect her from trouble. Later on, she found out about the Gem War and decided that she would also rebel against Homeworld.

Lapis Lazuli: A newer addition to the team, Lapis actually met the OG Crystal Gems before he joined Rose's team. He is a carefree, wild, and adventurous Gem who loves cracking jokes. He got along really well with the OG Crystal Gems' Peridot, but not their Lapis. He does, however, seem to have a darker side. He has a totally 100% undeniable crush on the Sapphire of this team, whom he will not stop flirting with (he will flirt with almost anyone, but he only has eyes for Sapphire). Lapis hates the nickname Lappy unless Sapphire (or as he calls him, Sapphy) uses it.

Turquoise Pearl: Because his owner Sapphire chose to defect from Homeworld, his loyalty to his master outweighed that of his loyalty to the Diamonds. Thus, he abandoned his home alongside his owner, and they sought out the Gems in Sapphire's vision. Lapis tends to also hit on Turquoise Pearl, although the other former aristocrat only has eyes for Turquoise's owner, which makes Turquoise Pearl very protective of Sapphire. He often scolds Lapis for his flirting, rarely opens his eyes, and gets flustered when dealing with emotions.

Sapphire: An aristocrat from Homeworld, Sapphire defected when he had a vision of Rose Quartz. Curious and adventurous, he decided he had found his destiny and went to find them with his Pearl. When Lapis flirts with him, Sapphire is totally clueless. He views Lapis (whom he calls Lappy) as a close friend.

Peridot: Sporadic, unorganized, and forgetful, but also confident and always there for her friends; this Peridot chose to escape Homeworld when she messed up one too many times. She met Rose and instantly bonded with the small Gem, thus choosing to join her new friend in their battle against Homeworld.
*Note: I am thinking of changing her to Olivine to not make things too close to the OG Crystal Gems. Also, while designing this Peridot, I somehow forgot about limb enhancers but liked her too much to change her up into a smaller Gem. So...maybe she's an Era 1 Peridot?

Dark Amethyst: Born in a Kindergarten as a Quartz soldier, he is very good at what he does and hardly ever talks. However, the idea of destroying the planet he'd come to see as home was one that didn't bode well with him, causing him to defect. He met Rose Quartz around that time. He is very protective of her and all of his friends, and will sometimes fly into a rage if any of his friends are hurt. He's the tall, silent type for sure.
