Iron Sea for #metalloversSomething new to kick off June - started it actually many years ago. But finally managed to finish it after some modifications.

I love the small, Sojourner-style robot next to the two human figures.

Love the alien vibe here, especially with that eclipse. All the blue shades, while familiar here on Earth, look otherworldly and really sell the idea of this being another planet. Also the sense that the big rock in the foreground is floating is very cool.
My one question is - is this a planet in a binary system? Your clouds look as if lit from a source offscreen to the right, and the eclipse would've just turned them into dark cloud-shaped shadows in the sky. So I'm figuring between the diffuse lighting going on and the clouds, this planet's orbiting more than one star.
Judging from the quality of your work, I'm wondering if this was intentional?

Beautiful and fascinating landscape! Very intriguing. Lovely lighting and coloring, and the fade on the background really accentuates the sense of scale. Nice work!
