Too be honest I think this looks pretty good. I like the wings, having pointed feathers I think fits in with the Naruto style theme better than a rounded edge type would. Plus the pose gives the impression that he just landed swiftly with a minimal impact showing he may be a skillful flyer . As far as tips go I remember that some art programs offer special brushes for things like grass and tree leaf, and cloud effects.
I know drawing grass can be time consuming though.

In fact, I meant that the outline isn't really fixed or definite, so it give an effect of blur... I hope it's understandable this way
