Description Update 18 February 2013 - Added one or two more fixes, namely some focus glows on her helmut and textured the clouds slightly, it was looking a little lack lustre up there. Added detail shots.

Finished! Probably the most frustrating piece I've worked on yet. I normally don't like spending more than about 3 days on a piece but this one has been dragging on since last year. It was supposed to be finished in December but I just didn't have the skills to pull it off. Thank you to everyone who helped me with advice on this painting. Cheers guys.

Thank you Babes Mmm yip, I didn't quite pull this one off but I learnt a lot from this painting. Mmm underneath, she's a lady knight, I was imagining a modern lady knight in a near-futuristic land, where warriors battle with impossibly large weapons. I thought it was kinda fun to imagine I love you

Woah! This looks really cool! I dont know what it is, but it looks awesome. xD ... Swordblade? Looks a bit like a lipstick too somehow... But I love again the rough areas and those lovely detailed areas, like her dress and the helmet. Also colour! The only bit that was a bit confusing is the composition. It's long and I don't seem to need the top bit, as my screen isn't so high that I could see all of the image at the same time... And there isn't really an effect while you scroll down either... But despite that, I love it!

Thank you Jannie! Yip, the idea was a lipstick sword, I wanted it quite subtle, glad you noticed. Mmm, sorry that you found the composition confusing, I'll work on those issues, for example making it more interesting, it seems a bit simple right now (although i wanted it like that).
