1) When you are in SFM, press F11 so that you go into the game.

2) Go to the console by pressing ~ and type something like "colorcorrectionui"

3) You'll see a new menu come up. Be sure that "Enable" is checked, and go to the bottom and press "New".

4) You'll see a second menu come up on the side, with a drop down menu at the top of it...You can play around with the different options available. If you don't like something you created, go back to the first menu and press "Delete" to delete.

5) I think I used HSV Select for the black and white effect...one of them has an option for "Monochrome" but I honestly can't remember when I did.

6) When you create the colorcorrection effect taht you like, hit "Ssve as" and save the file somewhere in your "game/usermod/materials" folder. I think by default it will try to save it in content/usermod which won't work. When it asks something about Preforce, hit No.

7) Press F11 to leave the game and go back to your SFM. In your Time Editor under "Effects" press Add Clip to Track and select "Color Correction". Right-click on the new clip that appears in the timeline and press "Show in Element Viewer"

8) Under filename, search for the file you had just created. It should be under your usermod/materials folder and as a .RAW file.
